Based in Rennes since 2019, Djaoui Cissé made his professional debut last February under Habib Beye, in a 1-0 win over Strasbourg at Roazhon Park. Since then, his performances in midfield have seen him rack up 20 appearances.

His successful debut in the top flight earned him the right to defend the French colours with the French Under-21 team last summer at the European Under-21 Championship, a campaign that unfortunately ended in the semi-finals but further revealed Djaoui's talent to football fans (4 matches, 3 goals).
