Having lived in Rennes since the age of 13 and trained at SRFC, Jérémy Jacquet is set to join one of Europe’s top clubs, Liverpool FC, in a few weeks’ time. The final match of the season at Roazhon Park provided an opportunity for the talented 20-year-old defender to take the microphone and bid farewell to the Rouge et Noir supporters one last time, receiving a standing ovation in return.
A few minutes before kick-off in the SRFC v PFC match, Executive Chairman and Managing Director Arnaud Pouille presented him with a framed photograph and an Odorico ceramic piece – symbolic gifts marking his six years in Rennes and 33 professional matches.
