The French Football Federation has unveiled its annual ranking of youth academies, which takes the following criteria into account:
- Professionalisation
- playing time for the first team
- national team call-ups
- academic performance
- European competition participation
Having won the title of France’s best youth academy three years running, SRFC finished third in the 2025/2026 season, behind Paris Saint-Germain and Toulouse FC, level on points with Olympique Lyonnais.
Across all criteria, with the exception of playing time in the first team, the Rouge et Noir club was the only one to secure the maximum number of points.
This season, nine players who came through the ETP Odorico academy featured for the first team: Mathys Silistrie, Jérémy Jacquet, Paolo Limon, Lilian Brassier, Djaoui Cissé, Elias Legendre Quiñonez, Nordan Mukiele, Lucas Rosier and Kader Meïté.
Since 1977, Stade Rennais F.C.’s youth academy has been a cornerstone of the club, with the aim of guiding young people to the highest levels in both sport and education. Volunteers, coaches, medical staff, scouts, coordinators, staff, teachers, school support staff, managers… SRFC would like to thank everyone who works tirelessly every day to support, nurture and help the young people at the Academy to flourish.
