Having fallen behind before levelling the score as the match entered its closing stages, Laurent Viaud’s young side ultimately had the last word against Angers SCO thanks to a penalty converted by Joshua Jean (photo). At La Piverdière, the Red and Blacks eventually secured a 3–2 victory over a solid Angers side, recording their sixth consecutive league win in the process. After six league matches, Stade Rennais F.C. and Olympique de Marseille in Group E are the only two sides to have won all six of their matches.
