«In the first half, we were clearly in control of the game. We had maybe five or ten minutes at the end of the first half when we didn't have as much pace or technical quality. We allowed them to come at us and put in some deep balls, and we had identified that. I'm quite satisfied. We should have led a bit more before the break. These are games you have to control right to the end. Sometimes events can throw a spanner in the works. The start of the second half was very complicated, a bit like the one at Lens where we almost conceded a goal. The introduction of Azor Matusiwa and Ismaël Koné gave us back some control over the game. They allowed us to dominate and I think we deserved the result. It's difficult to score three goals in football, but it means we've shown some quality. We'll need to repeat that performance against Auxerre on Sunday and keep it going.
Arnaud Kalimuendo had a great game, not just scoring two goals. His positioning gave us control. He made a huge contribution. He's got some great qualities when it comes to rounding and evading in the first touch of the ball. He's been very good for the team. I'm expecting a lot from him because I know he has the ability to score twenty goals in a season in L1, or even more. He's a great talent in our league. »

« It's a win that makes the group very happy. It's a deserved win. We controlled the game and scored the second goal at the right time. We're very happy and we'll be able to train with peace of mind and prepare well for the next game. We saw some great things and created a lot of chances. We're calm and we're working well. It's great to play again for 60 minutes and get a good feeling. It was a bit tough at the end but it was important for me to play again. I worked well during the break. In terms of protocol, we're good, so I'm happy. I arrived in a context that wasn't easy, but I have confidence in myself, I never doubt, and I'm very happy about that. You have to learn from experience. You have to put your ego aside and not rush things, accept that it might take a little time. You have to take it easy.»
