On Sunday, the France U18 team played their final warm-up match at Clairefontaine against Senegal ahead of the World Cup in Qatar. Trailing in the score, the Bleuets levelled the score just before half-time thanks to a goal that was 100 per cent ‘Rouge et Noir’, set up by Noah Lounfoudou, assisted by Noham Diop, and finished by Dee-Shawn Jacinthe. The draw was followed by a penalty shoot-out, which unfortunately did not go the Tricolores’ way as they were defeated 5–4.
