Melric De Chavigny and Antoine Ménard have been selected for a training camp in Finland with the France U17 team, where they will play a two-legged tie against the Finnish side. Thâo Mouapa Mwa Meuraillon and Firmin Thétiot (pictured) will take part in the Limoges International Tournament with the U18 squad. They will face Austria on Wednesday 23 September at 7.00 pm, Ukraine on Friday 25 September at 7.00 pm, and Japan on Sunday 27 September at 6.00 pm.
Mohamed Chebbi, who is in fine form for the Academy with six goals in five matches across all competitions, will travel to Croatia with the U19 squad, accompanied by Ruben Lomet. In the Balkans, Les Bleuets will face Italy on Tuesday 25 September at 3.30 pm in Kotoriba, then Croatia on Monday 28 September at 3.30 pm in Dunjkovec, and will round off this training camp against Turkey on Thursday 1 October at 12.45 pm in Cakovec.
As for the France U20 team, Bernard Diomède has selected twenty-six players, including Junior Aké, for this first training camp of the 2026–2027 season, which will take the ‘Bleuets’ to La Nucia for three friendly matches. The first, against Germany, will take place on Friday 25 September (5.30 pm); the second, against England, will be played on Tuesday 29 September (11.30 am); and finally, the third and last match will see them face Italy on Saturday 3 October (11.00 am).
Having reached the quarter-finals of the last U17 Africa Cup of Nations with Algeria, Mouhammad Valmy will once again represent Algeria. As part of the U20 squad, the Rennes striker will take part in a UNAF qualifying tournament for the next Africa Cup of Nations, to be held in Ghana in 2027.
Also worth noting are the call-ups of two players from the first-team squad, both of whom came through the Academy, to their respective senior national teams: Henrick Do Marcolino for Gabon and Kilian Belazzoug for Algeria’s Fennecs.
Not to mention the inclusion of seven former ETP Odorico academy graduates selected by Zinédine Zidane: Andy Diouf, Adrien Truffert, Jérémy Jacquet – Eduardo Camavinga – Lucas Da Cunha – Ousmane Dembélé – Désiré Doué – as well as Mathys Tel and Lesley Ugochukwu in the Under-21s squad, who are expected to feature in the final four matches of the UEFA Euro 2027 Under-21 qualifiers.
