A sober design inspired by a legendary era
The 2025-2026 shirt pays homage to the era of an emblematic figure at the club: Jean Prouff, former player and coach of Stade Rennais F.C., considered one of the major architects of its history. Inspired by the period in which he left his mark on the club, the new shirt goes back to basics. It has a sober, elegant look, characterised by a classic collar that echoes the models worn in his time. It's a way of reaffirming the club's attachment to its heritage, while offering a timeless style.
A sporting and collective tribute to a memorable performance
Echoing the career of Jean Prouff, the club wanted to celebrate a key event in his life: his journey by bike from Rennes to Paris on the occasion of his first selection for the French national team. To salute this achievement, a contemporary tribute has been devised. Julien Simon, a former professional cyclist, reproduced this symbolic journey in the opposite direction, wearing the new jersey.
He was joined on the final leg by former players Michel Sorin and Cyrille L'Helgouach, content creators Lebouseuh and Dobby, and a number of Rennes supporters selected via the club's social networks, for a collective finish at Roazhon Park. The shirt was shot at “La Petite Rennes”, a cycle workshop based in Rennes.

Official debut at final home match
The new jersey will be worn for the first time by Stade Rennais F.C.'s professional players in their final home match of the season, against OGC Nice on Saturday 10 May. It will be an important moment in the club's history, a moment of transmission and loyalty to the club's historic values.
Jersey technology
The RE:FIBRE process used to design jerseys primarily uses textile waste as the raw material to create new textiles. The recycled material can be reused again and again with no loss of quality - making RE:FIBRE a more sustainable long-term solution for recycling polyester textile waste.
Designed with the fans in mind, the Replica shirt combines the same style worn by the players at matches with dry-CELL technology, which regulates body temperature to maximise day-to-day comfort and breathability. The Replica Jersey is made from PUMA's innovative RE:FIBRE recycling technology and contains at least 95% recycled textile waste.
The ‘Authentic’ jersey, worn by players on the pitch, is made from PUMA's ULTRAWEAVE fabric, which reduces weight and friction, and offers an athletic fit for optimal performance. The shirt with this new technology will soon be available in limited quantities in the official Stade Rennais F.C. shops.

The Stade Rennais F.C jersey is already available from the online shop and the official shop. It will be available from 26 May on the Puma.com website and from partner distributors.
