Rennes fought back and qualified (1-3)

Having dominated the game, Rennes fell into the trap of losing concentration. Trailing against the run of play just before half-time, Habib Beye's players had to regroup collectively to turn the game around. A foul by Cantilien Sambou Yatabaré, which resulted in a red card and a goal by Quentin Merlin, allowed SRFC to confirm their dominance. The final score was 1-3, with Elias Legendre Quiñonez scoring his first professional goal.
