Women's section
Founded in the summer of 2021, the women’s section began with 30 young girls from the Rennes area in the U8 category. One year later, the U11 and U13 teams were created. By the summer of 2023, 41 players had joined the U15, U18, and Senior categories. In line with the performance and personal development objectives promoted by the club’s Academy, the project is built around three pillars: fulfilment, progression, and pride in playing under the Red and Black banner.
The Stade Rennais F.C. women’s project continues to grow, with several key milestones this season:
- The Senior A team has earned promotion to the Regional 1 Women’s League
- The Senior B team now competes in District D1
- The U19 Women’s team is competing in the national U19 Women’s Championship
This structuring is accompanied by an expansion of the technical staff, allowing for more individualized support for the players and increased expertise across all age groups.
The club now has 105 licensed female players, across 6 teams, from U11F to Seniors.
All matches are held at the Moulin du Comte facilities, located near Roazhon Park. They are open to the public, and you can find the dates and kick-off times in the weekly schedule published on the club’s website.
