“Disappointment is the overriding feeling; there was a chance to win given the way the match unfolded. At 0–0 or 1–0, the outlook is very different, even though it’s the same match. Against a compact opponent, you have to score.”

“We could have played more combination football by using the width of the pitch; we didn’t stretch the opposition’s back line enough. Obviously, these were two points we were hoping for, and I think we deserved them, especially after the defeat against Lille.
