Franck Haise
Pushed back, then fought back
“Apart from the opening stages, we were in control. In the first half, I would have liked us to have pushed further in certain moves, with more intensity, precision and determination. The message got through at half-time. We had to adapt to the opposition’s starting formation and their movement. The players must have seen what was happening at the start. Strasbourg’s first big chance was a warning. It allowed us to really get into the game and take control.”
The opposition’s squad rotation
“I was a Strasbourg supporter in the Conference League. They played an exceptional match. I try to put myself in their coach’s shoes. With a French Cup semi-final to play in three days’ time after what they’ve done in the Conference League… They put in a lot of energy, there were a few niggles. The coach has to make choices. He stood by his team, and I can understand that.”
Sebastian Szymański to replace the suspended Valentin Rongier
“I’m getting to know Séba better and better. I’ve also seen him play for the national team. I know exactly what he can bring in terms of technical precision and his work rate with and without the ball, thanks to his intelligence and positioning. He put in a performance that I know he’s capable of delivering on a regular basis, even in a holding midfield role.”
A fine performance
“We don’t have any greater ambition; we simply don’t set ourselves any limits, especially in our play, in our efforts, and in the way the team must respond with those who start, those who come on, or those who play less. We have the quality, like many teams capable of competing in Europe. ”
4 away games, 14 goals
“When we play away, teams play differently. There are a few more openings, and we’re perhaps a bit more clinical too. We could have scored even more today.”

Estéban Lepaul
« It was definitely the weekend when we needed to make a big impact. We hadn’t managed to do it until now. We’ve done it in the best possible way – it’s perfect. I went out and claimed the top scorer’s spot. Now I want to stay right at the top. We’ll do whatever it takes, even if the team’s needs always come first. »

Mahdi Camara
«We really needed those three points. We played well as a team, even though we struggled a bit at the start. We knew we could have done better in the first half, so we came out for the second half with real determination. It paid off, which is great.»
