Group update
‘The squad is almost complete. Only Andrés Gómez will be absent. He's in the process of coming back from an ankle problem. Seko Fofana has been spared after the scare we had against Montpellier. We didn't want to take any risks. Today, he's back with the squad at 100%.
The match against Montpellier
‘We were inconsistent between our first and second halves. We have to make sure we stay at the same level for 90 minutes and not have this cyclical aspect. Against teams like PSG, it's the little things that can cost us.
The opponent
‘Whatever line-up Luis Enrique puts out, we'll be up against a very competitive team. This type of team also recovers very quickly after a defeat (editor's note: the loss to Liverpool in the Champions League on Wednesday evening). They'll be determined to win at Roazhon Park. They're an unbeaten team, with players who have fitted in perfectly with the coach's plan. Nobody has taken the ball away from them this season. They are precise in what they do, which makes them very, very strong.
I want players with personality, who believe in themselves and have the ambition to cause Paris Saint-Germain problems.
The keys to surprising PSG
‘We need to pay attention to detail and try to exploit all their little weaknesses, even if there aren't many of them. We'll be in trouble, but we'll also be able to put them in trouble. That's what we've been working on all week. We're not going to give in. We'll be solid, together, and capable of showing the qualities of Stade Rennais.
Facing PSG with the ambition to win
‘For me, there's no such thing as a bonus match. This is a match to be played and won. It's going to be 95 minutes of confrontation, of a challenge that will be imposed on us. It's a very exciting challenge and we have to give ourselves the means to win this match. I want players with personality, who believe in themselves and have the ambition to cause Paris Saint-Germain problems.
Objectives for the end of the season
‘You have to be careful about goals that seem far away. The challenge is to keep up the positive momentum on a daily basis in training and match after match. The best thing that can happen to us right now is to climb into the top half of the table. Once we're there, perhaps other objectives will open up for us.

His good personal statistics this season
‘It's positive. It's proof of my development. I'm trying to help the team as much as possible by being as effective as I can. I also know that I can do a lot better.
His effectiveness from the penalty spot
‘I always go by feel. I've taken a lot of penalties this season, so I know I'm becoming more readable. But like any technical move, I'm continuing to work on it and refine it so that I can remain unpredictable.
The coach's first month
‘The coach is someone who has managed to unite a group in a fairly difficult situation. I think he's a very good leader of men. He knows how to talk to us and motivate us, and in today's football that's something very important. His project speaks to me and I'm totally behind it.
Against Paris, we're going to have to make sacrifices. We're going to have to put ourselves at the service of the team if we're going to win.
The desire to test himself against PSG
‘I want to challenge myself and see where we are as a team. We're on a very good run. PSG are a team that is performing well, and it will be a test for us to welcome them here to Roazhon Park. I think it's going to be a great game.
A state of mind to adopt
‘Against Paris, we're going to have to make sacrifices. We're going to have to put ourselves at the service of the team if we want to win. I know what's expected of me in a match like that. I'm ready for it today.
A reunion with Désiré Doué
‘I'm very happy with his current form. I know what it's like to arrive at a club like PSG. He's growing in stature and becoming more and more effective. It's up to him to keep performing, because the hardest thing at the top level is consistency. He's talented and very professional, and I wish him all the best. I'll be delighted to see him again.
The group's ambitions
‘We mustn't forget where we've come from. We had a complicated first half of the season, we were relegated. Our aim now is to maintain the positive momentum we've built up. We've now won 4 of our last 5 games, so it's up to us to motivate ourselves to win as many as possible. We'll see where we stand after the break, and then we'll take stock.
