Three Rennes players called up to the French U18 team

Lorenz's younger brother, Kenny Assignon, has been called up to the French youth team for the first time.

Following the publication of Didier Deschamps' list, which includes Désiré Doué and Ousmane Dembélé, and that of Gérald Baticle, who has called up five players trained at the Academy for the next Espoirs gathering, the French Football Federation has published the list of 22 players called up for the 18th Limoges International Tournament.

The list includes two winners of the 2025 Gambardella Cup - Mohamed Chebbi and Ruben Lomet - as well as a newcomer in the form of Kenny Assignon. With three players selected by Lionel Rouxel, Stade Rennais F.C. is the most represented club alongside OM.
