Les Bleuets du Pertre, a Regional 3 team, faced US Concarneau this Saturday (National) in the 7th round of the Coupe de France. The match, relocated to Vitré, presented a potentially uneven duel, with the Breton and Finistère teams separated by five divisions.

We all saw that bus — we never imagined being on it. To make us dream like that is incredible.

On this occasion, Stade Rennais F.C. decided to support the local team, which included many subscribers and Red and Black fans. Les Bleuets traveled to Vitré aboard the Red and Black team bus, normally used by the first team. The players discovered the surprise after their pre-match warm-up.

Welcomed by a large crowd, the Breton sensations of the competition eventually lost 3-0, but they will keep an unforgettable memory of the day… and of their remarkable run for an eighth-division team.
