Sporting success and development
« All three teams competing this season have been promoted. These are positive results, and a good step towards continuity. The national team has been promoted to R1, the fourth tier of the national league, our reserve team will discover the D1 district league at the start of the new season, and the U18 group will be in the U19 national championship. All of these are obviously very satisfying. This year marks the development of the women's section with this step-by-step evolution.»
First-team momentum continues
« We opted for a short squad and it worked out quite well. Mordelles didn't give up until the last game, which made for an interesting long-distance duel. The fact that we've only lost one game is also a sign that we're serious and hard-working. Next season will be in R1 with a strong desire to move up to D3. »
Discovering R1 with ambition
« It's a complicated championship, with only one pool in Brittany: Brest, which is coming down from D3, the reserves of Bréquigny and Saint-Malo, and several seasoned teams such as Plérin, Quimper and Saint-Renan. These are just some of the places where Stade Rennais F.C. will be expected to live up to their billing.»

I would like to thank Michel Sorin for his dedication, the staff, the players, the Red and Black partners and the parents.
Building the collective
« We've been recruiting for some time now. We have players who are very interested in the women's section project. Several of the players joining us have already played at a higher level and will need to bring that experience with them. We're not going to revolutionise everything either; we're also running a training project with continuity in the construction of the squad.»
Shared goals for the game
« We went into the championships as favourites, so we also built our project around this idea: the desire to be the team that plays the game, that presses high and imposes a controlled, attacking, structured style. It's obviously taking a long time to put in place, but we're making good progress.»
Promotion to U19 National
« The double-header against Sochaux was particularly interesting, with the discovery of a different kind of football and the special first leg at the Stade Bonal. It was an important step to take and I think promotion comes at just the right time. It's going to be another championship, which is bound to be tough, with some prestigious fixtures. It's a very positive factor in the training process. »

Next season
« The primary objective will be to aim for promotion to the D3, although we have to bear in mind that this is very difficult to achieve given the level of the championship and the play-off system. We will also be discovering the National U19 championship, integrating the high school sports section at Bréquigny, which has been a long-term project, and the staff will continue to grow. Development continues, not forgetting the football academy, from U11 to U15. »
