Awarded since 2018 to the best player under 21, the Kopa Trophy went to Lamine Yamal in 2025. Désiré Doué, a graduate of the Rouge et Noir Academy, finished in second place.
Shining in the Paris Saint-Germain jersey and delivering a memorable Champions League final among numerous standout performances, the former Rennais was followed in the rankings by Joao Neves, Estevão (Chelsea), and Kenan Yildiz (Juventus). Present at the Théâtre du Châtelet on Monday, Désiré walked the red carpet alongside his brother Guéla Doué, also a club academy product and a defender for Strasbourg.

An attacking talent, Désiré Doué joined PSG in the 2024 off-season after making his professional debut at SRFC. Last season, the Angers-born player wore the Parisian jersey 61 times, scoring 16 goals and providing an equal number of assists, while also making his debut for the French national team. His trophy cabinet has also grown considerably: Champions League and inclusion in the Team of the Season, Ligue 1, Best Young Player of both competitions, Trophée des Champions, and Coupe de France. Not to mention a successful Club World Cup run, reaching the final.
