In Dinan, the Rouge et Noir challenged Stade Brestois for the second duel of the summer preparations. After 120 minutes of play (4x30 format), SRFC lost by 3 goals to 2 despite goals from Bertuğ Yildirim and Mikayil Faye. Next stop for this series of friendly matches is Nantes on Saturday 26.

Players coached by Sébastien Tambouret (N3) and William Stanger (U19 Nat) will test themselves against Les Herbiers and FC Nantes respectively on 26 July, before taking part in the Ploufragan and Carisport tournaments a few days later.

Stade Rennais and Stade Briochin met at La Piverdière for the first match of their summer preparations. Kader Meïté opened the scoring before half-time, but the visitors equalised in the 62nd minute through Christian Konan. Habib Beye's men will be on a training camp this weekend before turning their attention to their clash with Brest, to be played in Dinan on Friday 18 July.
