Against Nice, a late awakening (1-2)
On the ninth day of Ligue 1, Stade Rennais F.C. lost by one goal on their home turf. Roazhon Park witnessed an exciting final half hour from Les Rouge et Noir, which unfortunately contrasted with the rest of the match. After Nice's goals from Sofiane Diop and Jonathan Clauss at the end of the first half, Abdelhamid Aït Boudlal gave hope by scoring his first professional goal in the 67th minute. See you in three days in Toulouse for a chance to bounce back.

Habib Beye's reaction after sharing points with Auxerre
Against Auxerre, a point will have to suffice
Rennes forced to share the points against Auxerre. Seko Fofana had given Les Rouge et Noir the lead in the 56th minute before Lassine Sinayoko equalised from the penalty spot. Frustrating.

Despite the form of its pair of strikers, Breel Embolo and Estéban Lepaul, who were relentless in front of goal, SRFC allowed Le Havre to come back just before half-time and with fifteen minutes to go. It was a huge disappointment for the Red and Blacks, who conceded a draw for the third time in a row.
At home, the U16s and U17s keep their winning streak going!
While a draw seemed to be taking shape at La Piverdière, Sébastien Tambouret’s side were caught out late in the match against St-Pierre-Milizac (0–1). Reduced to ten men for the entire second half after Firmin Thétiot was sent off, the U19s gave way to the Guingamp block and fell 2–1 in Côtes-d’Armor. Alternating results since the start of the season (W-L-W-L-W-L), the U17s have now recorded back-to-back wins following last weekend’s victory in Guingamp.
