With the score heading for a goalless draw at Roazhon Park, Auxerre were able to break the deadlock in a rather tight encounter when they scored from a set-piece in the 89th minute. Stade Rennais F.C. lost 1-0 at home and are now 12th on 32 points after Matchday 28. Next game: a trip to Le Havre in a week's time.

Generally dominant and more incisive in key moments, Rennes overcame their periods of hesitation before and after half-time to hold off Angers and logically take all three points. A precise shot from Arnaud Kalimuendo, some brilliant inspiration from Ismaël Koné and another goal from Kali' in the dying seconds gave SRFC a 3-0 win in Angers.
The U18s triumphed on penalties to reach the last four (1-1; 4-2 on penalties).
